This fuser kit (also known as a fuser assembly, fixing unit or heat exchanger assembly) contains parts to maintain fusing in high volume HP Color LaserJet printers to restore optimum performance. This is an official HP maintenance product that was designed to maintain the fusing in all supported models of HP Color LaserJet printers.
This fuser kit (CB458A / Q3931-69002) is designed to be a replacement maintenance kit for a compatible HP Color LaserJet printer's fuser unit. The fuser unit uses heat and pressure to bond toner particles to the printed page. The fuser unit will begin to wear after extensive use. Fusers eventually fail and can cause issues with printed pages including smearing, ghosting and toner that rubs off easily. Replacing a worn-out fuser unit with this official HP maintenance component will return the printer to optimal, high-quality printing results and will also increase the lifespan of the printer. Because the fuser kit has been developed for high volume printing demands, it should be used exclusively in printers that require dependability.
The CB458A / Q3931-69002 fuser kit has several alternative OEM part numbers (including, but not limited to): RM1-3244, Q3931-67915, Q3931-67927, Q3931-67941, etc. All these part numbers refer to the same or functionally similar fuser assembly.
